Role: Vendor Coordinator – Fil-Am Spring Fest 2025
Val is a dedicated communicator and servant leader who believes in the power of community, kindness, and quiet service. As the Chief Communications & Community Engagement Officer of Fil-Am FEST Inc., he plays a vital role in fostering connections, coordinating outreach efforts, and ensuring that the organization remains deeply engaged with the community.
In addition to his leadership role, Val also serves as the Vendor Coordinator for Fil-Am Spring Fest 2025, working directly with dozens of vendors and partners to ensure a smooth and successful experience for all participants. His attentiveness, reliability, and humble approach create an encouraging environment where vendors feel welcomed, informed, and supported.
With experience as a church volunteer for memory care elders and a commitment to serving others, Val finds fulfillment in helping the less fortunate. His work in McLean Bible Church’s Microsite program and his role as a volunteer and pioneer since the pre-inauguration of Fil-Am FEST Inc. have reinforced his belief that true service often happens behind the scenes, where patience, humility, and dedication make a lasting impact. Val also leads a Bible study attended by most of the team members of Fil-Am FEST Inc., helping to cultivate spiritual growth and strengthen the foundation of faith within the organization.

Guided by Psalm 46:10 – "Be still, and know that I am God", Val finds peace and purpose in serving others. He believes that giving time, showing kindness, and being respectful are simple yet powerful ways to reflect God’s love.
